What can you expect from MS Schippers in this upcoming period
We would like to inform you about the measures we have taken to prevent the further spread of the Coronavirus. The health of society comes first and we will continue to follow the advice of the RIVM.
We are there for you
Employees in the food chain, including farmers, belong to the so-called 'vital' or 'crucial' professions that must be able to continue to do their work in times of crisis. MS Schippers, as a supplier to the livestock industry, also belongs to the critical sector. We are therefore currently doing everything we can to continue to support our farmers. We continue to receive many questions about how we are dealing with the situation that has arisen, so we describe the most important points here:
Our advisors are on standby; if they are required to visit, they will strictly observe all hygiene measures and safe distancing. For customers who prefer not to be visited, we can also speak to you by telephone as always or by the wide range of video calling platforms. In addition, we point our customers as much as possible to the convenience of ordering online. This can be done on our webshop as well as in our Android- and iOS App. Our wide range of products ensures that you don't have to buy from different shops and so we keep the number of transport movements to a minimum. At the moment we see that the number of orders has strongly increased over the past period, so the delivery time can be a little longer than you are used to from us and our logistic partners. For this we apologise but we are working beyond capacity at this uncertain time
Our colleagues disinfect their hands several times a day. In addition, we disinfect the equipment they work with, from forklifts to keyboards. Both the logistics centre and the production sites work in separate teams in order to prevent further spread. Our colleagues are only allowed to work in one building, this is how we prevent possible internal spread of the virus.
All drivers are waiting outside the distribution centre. We are in close contact with our suppliers and carriers to keep our products available and get them delivered to you as soon as possible. Finally, we wish everyone a lot of strength in this strange and difficult period. Keep In Touch
