"Thanks to the automated hoof bathing with the MS AutoHoofClean system, we have been able to focus on other farm tasks and reduce costs on medical treatments. In just 3 months, the overall health of the cows has improved significantly, reducing digital dermatitis to 6% and increasing milk production. The photo monitoring via the HyCare app allows us to track and analyze the progression of the lesions."
Toon Jennissen uses MS AutoHoofClean since 2022. They are milking 440 cows with 7 milking robots and are using 7 AutoHoofClean mats.
"Setting up footbaths with a robot can sometimes be a real hassle, especially if you forget them or change them too late, which can result in poorer robot performance. The MS AutoHoofClean means I hardly need to spend any time on footbath management anymore. My only tasks now are cleaning the mat and changing the canisters.
Cases of Mortellaro have been drastically reduced, and even interdigital infections rarely occur, even with solid floors. The MS AutoHoofClean is a real relief in terms of labour — you hardly have to think about it anymore."

"We are convinced that, especially on a robotic farm, a consistent daily routine is vital for the animals. A traditional footbath was therefore out of the question for us. That is why we chose the system with the hoof mats. It is automated, in use 365 days a year, and maintains a high level of hoof health."
"AHC is one of the best investments we have made. As a typical Estonian, I have to complain a bit, we have had problems with marking shipments, but it could also be a logistics problem.
If i had to rate AC 1-10, I would rate it a 9.5-. The workload for people has decreased compared to a regular foot bath, the concentration is always right and most importantly, it works:
Our mortellaro rate has now dropped to less than 3% of the herd, meaning that if we slaughter a thousand animals, 15-25 animals will be diagnosed with Mortellaro, meaning approximately 1.5-2.5% of the herd.
Unfortunately, we have some minor structural flaws in the barn and therefore there are a lot of hoof problems, but Formades and Hoof Clean have done their job well, unfortunately there is no such simple solution to other problems.
I can't imagine having to bother with foot baths here. I'm glad we made that decision."

“I chose AutoHoofClean because it's an automated solution with no extra work involved”
Observed results:
"I have been working on this farm for about 10 years, and since the mats were installed, the biggest change has been in dermatitis.
In two months, the incidence of digital dermatitis dropped from 23% to 3%. Even when we did preventive trimming for the entire herd, we only had to apply 6 bandages for dermatitis out of 250 animals. Everything has improved tremendously.
I recommend this system 100% because the facts and figures speak for themselves. We used to have to come in urgently every week due to dermatitis issues; now we only do regular trimming and the occasional urgent case."

"A traditional footbath was not an option for us, as it has led to stressed animals in the past. The MS AutoHoofClean system is an ideal alternative for me, allowing the animals to pass through stress-free.
Since we started using the system, the hoof health of our animals has significantly improved. The fact that no bandages were needed after the last hoof trimming proves that the system is an effective method for preventing hoof diseases."
They run a farm in Saulkrasti region, which has 240 dairy cows. The cows are milked on the farm by 4 milking robots.
" Before choosing to purchase this system, of course, we did the math and came to the conclusion that in terms of cost, AutoHoofClean does not significantly exceed the existing footbath solution, and it also significantly reduces the work associated with foot disinfection. The system works much more precisely than footbaths, ensuring continuous disinfection and care. It is impossible to do this in footbaths in this way.
After just a month, we saw improvements, digital dermatitis during hoof treatment is practically no longer present, old wounds have completely healed and the hoofs are becoming stronger. Now, if cows start to limp, we have to look for the reason in feeding or elsewhere.
We are very satisfied and happy with our choice! "

"I would recommend this experience to anyone. Much less lameness, very little dermatitis, we do regular preventive trimming, and we practically don't use bandages anymore.
The improvement has been very noticeable; we just have to make sure the products don't run out. We check the animals before starting with the product and take photos, then check them again months later. You can really see the progress."
Matthew Daly, a farmer from the south of Ireland, began using the AutoHoofClean Mat ath the end of August 2024. At that time, approximately 20% of his herd was affected by Mortellaro disease. Within just two months, he was able to reduce this to almost 0%. The improvement in his herd's hoof health has been remarkable, demonstrating the effectiveness of the AutoHoofClean Mat.

"The MS AutoHoofClean system is an ideal solution for me against Mortellaro disease. It is particularly important to me to use labor-efficient and functional solutions to keep my herd healthy and productive.
I have been using the system for about 8 months now and am very satisfied with the result. Mortellaro cases in my herd have almost completely disappeared, and feed intake has increased."
At Winnerfarm, they have been using MS AutoHoofClean since February 2022 and milk 660 cows in the milking parlor using one AutoHoofClean mat.
"I was looking for a replacement for my old, worn-out footbath. The footbath was often forgotten, meaning it was there but remained empty. Additionally, too many cows were using the same bath. Measuring the correct proportions of the cleaning product was also a hassle.
That’s when I came across the MS AutoHoofClean. The purchase price was comparable to that of a new footbath. At first, I wasn't convinced, so we tested it out first. However, I really liked it. It requires little effort and is very easy to use. By now, the mat has simply become part of the routine for the animals because it’s always there. They don't even notice it anymore. On top of that, Mortellaro has almost completely disappeared."

"Before implementing the AutoHoofClean, we averaged 2.4 robot visits. Today, that has increased to 2.6 or even 2.8. Milk production is up, and we have to fetch far fewer cows."
"Since the beginning, my idea has been to work with AutoHoofClean through a distribution channel here in Poland. Given the complexity of the product—installation, service, and maintenance—I knew that the most effective way to succeed with AHC in Poland was through a dealer.
We began our cooperation with our dealer, Luk-Sar, in late 2019, and the first AHC trials took place at the beginning of 2021. Since then, Luk-Sar has installed over 120 AHC systems and continues to grow.
Łukasz Sarbimowski, the owner of Luk-Sar, has always recognized the importance of healthy hooves. For him, the priority has been to focus on trimming healthy hooves rather than spending time separating healthy cows from sick ones. The success of the product stems from the fact that it genuinely improves hoof health and is fully automated—something farmers greatly appreciate.
We’ve found that most of our sales come through recommendations from farmers who are already using the system. Good news travels fast.
There are over 2 million dairy cows in Poland and more than 6,500 professional herds, which shows just how huge the potential is.
Our short-term goal is to reach 10% of the Polish market.
In the long term, we aim to have AutoHoofClean installed on every dairy farm in Poland."

My name is Łukasz Sarbinowski, and I have been a professional hoof trimmer for 15 years. I trim approximately 16,000 cows each year. Healthy hooves are all about prevention — which means trimming three times a year, providing good living conditions, and ensuring regular hoof bathing. That’s where the AutoHoofClean system comes in.
I first contacted a representative from Schippers 10 years ago. Initially, I was just purchasing hoof trimming supplies. However, through several conversations, we realized there was a significant lack of regular hoof bathing among dairy farmers in Poland. That’s how the idea to introduce and sell the AutoHoofClean system here was born.
So far, we have sold over 120 AutoHoofClean systems in Poland. They are installed by qualified company technicians. The best form of advertising has been word of mouth — the positive opinions of farmers who have used the system for years. That’s why I always recommend that potential buyers visit a fellow farmer to see the AutoHoofClean system in action before making a decision.
As a hoof care specialist, I can confidently say that within a month of using the AutoHoofClean system, you can notice a clear improvement in cow mobility. I’m also seeing growing awareness among Polish farmers about the importance of regular hoof bathing.
What can I say about AutoHoofClean from my own experience? Farmers are automating their stables more and more, and this system operates 24 hours a day. It's one of the most hygienic and effective solutions available. That’s why I strongly encourage farmers to observe the system in person, ask questions, and speak with long-term users.
When it comes to hoof trimming in Poland, I believe we have a strong group of professionals — equipped with the right tools, skills and knowledge to care for cattle effectively.
"In 2020, I started working at The Schippers Group. My role was taking care of the Swedish market. That was also when we were just starting out with the AutoHoofClean, a product that would later become a key part of our dairy assortment. At the time, the first mats had only just been installed in our home markets: the Netherlands, Germany, and Belgium. Sweden, with its similarities to those countries, felt like an exciting challenge.
In the start I spent a lot of time getting to know the Swedish market: talking to farmers, hoof trimmers, vets, and agricultural groups/corporations to really understand what was going on.
At first, farmers often said that hoof problems like Digital Dermatitis weren’t much of an issue in Sweden. But once we started investigating and running some trials, it turned out that the problems were there as well.
I visited lots of dairy farms and worked closely with farmers, taking hoof photos to get a baseline. After installing the Auto Hoof Clean, we kept checking hooves every couple of months to track the results. Looking back, this was kind of the early version of what’s now the HyCare app. because “seeing is believing”.
Understandably, there was some skepticism at the start. I often hear things like, “It costs more than a traditional footbath,” or “I’ll stick to footbaths for now.” But if we’ve been using footbaths for over 20 years and the same hoof problems keep coming back. How effective are the foot baths really?
I actually enjoy having those conversations with farmers and other people in the industry, because with Auto Hoof Clean, we really can make a difference.
Over the years, I’ve taken the same approach in Norway and Finland, and more recently in Ireland and the UK. I’ve really enjoyed doing this work, and my goal hasn’t changed: to help as many dairy farmers as possible to improve the claw health management, via our re-sellers across different countries."
