HyCare approach is keeping Avian Influenza at bay – since day one

Since the introduction of HyCare in 2020, 75 participating poultry farmers have already experienced that strict biosecurity helpt to prevent avian influenza. Since implementing HyCare, not a single participating poultry farm has reported an outbreak of avian influenza.

By consciously focusing on hygiene every day, these farmers feel less worried about potential outbreaks. With practical hygiene protocols, controlled access, and innovative monitoring techniques, they collectively ensure a safe and healthy living environment for their animals.

Although the poultry sector regularly faces avian influenza outbreaks, HyCare poultry farmers find that this practical approach helps them better protect themselves.

As a result, farmers experience not only improved animal health, but also peace of mind and confidence in their daily work.

"By focusing on hygiene every day, I worry significantly less about a potential outbreak," says Rick Bakker, poultry farmer and HyCare user. "Working daily on prevention has become second nature to us."
