This teat board is designed to allow lambs to 'quietly' suck on the teats. The three notches with teats make this possible.
The notches also allow lambs to find the teat faster and more easily. The lambs instinctively search along the wall and are thus guided to the teat. This promotes natural drinking behaviour in the lambs.
