MS Aqualevel is a float-switch system for use in drinking troughs for piglets, fatteners, and sows in the birthing pen as well as sows in group housing. Using a float switch allows the water level in a drinking trough to be kept at a consistent level.
The MS Aqualevel has a 1/2" female thread coupling at the bottom for the 120 cm stainless steel pipe (not included) and a 1/2" male thread connection at the back for the drinking water piping.
Comes without a key to open the MS Aqualevel.
MS Aqualevel switch operates using a vacuum that closes off the water supply with the aid of a rubber membrane. The vacuum is created when the pressure in the water trough and the pressure of MS Aqualevel switch are the same. This stops the water supply. As long as the water level is lower than the end of the hose of the MS Aqualevel, air will be taken in by the MS Aqualevel until the pressure is the same. As soon as no more air can be taken in by the MS Aqualevel, the membrane closes against the nozzle and the water supply is stopped. When the water level falls below the height of the end of the MS Aqualevel hose, the MS Aqualevel and the water flows again.
