The P-PILL is a phosphorus pill of monosodium phosphate for cows with a phosphorus deficiency. The P-PILL may be used in organic production in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 848/2018.

Phosphorus is essential for a cow; it supports embryos during pregnancy; is a building block for milk proteins, hormones, and cells; supports the flora in the rumen; and is necessary for saliva. Phosphorus is stored in the saliva and bones. During a deficiency, a cow will draw phosphorus from its stores.
