The pH-PILL is a bicarbonate pill for cows who have problems with rumen acidosis. The pH-PILL may be used in organic production in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 848/2018.
The pH-PILL is supplied in 4-piece packages.
Rumen acidosis causes decreased feed intake and poor digestion. Ultimately, this leads to lower milk production, but it can also lead to laminitis or paralysis.
Rumen acidosis can be recognized by a low fat content in milk in more than 5% of cows or a low pH value.
