Mole and vole chaser is the most humane and environmentally friendly way of keeping gardens and lawns free of destructive ground rodents.

Most underground rodents have poor eyesight but to make up, nature has given them a very acute sense of hearing and sensitivity to ground vibration. The mole and vole chaser exploits this sensitivity to produce a penetration sonic sound 400Hz over an area of approx. 650 m² at 30 second intervals. This frightens and irritates the rodents sometimes causing them to dig more frantically to try and escape the noise. Eventually, however, the noise proves too much and they move on to new and quieter pastures.

• Place mole and vole chaser at site of worst rodent infestation
• Connect the two plugs located in the aluminium column to the connections located in the solar lid
• Insert the column into the ground. Ensure that the pressure required to do this is applied such that the device is not damaged. Look out for possible obstacles. Position the device in such a manner that the surface of the underside of the solar lid remains free – approximately 1 cm above ground level

• Top cover of Volechaser must be tightened again after insertion into the ground so there can be no possibility of water damage
• Make a pilot hole before inserting Volechaser into hard ground. Do not hammer or push excessively or you may damage unit
• Range of effectiveness depends largely upon soil type: Dry, sandy, or peat soil does not conduct the sonic eaves easily and sometimes two Molechasers may be required. Moist clay is the best conductor of sound
• Do not expect instant reaction. Mole and Vole chaser must be used continuously for up to 7 days before ground rodents start to move away from the area
