This artificial nest (entrance on the right) offers nesting space to the house martin. The nesting box is made of the durable material Woodstone, a mixture of wood fiber and concrete.
Hang the artificial nest for the house martin on the facade of the house or shed, directly under the gutter or overhang. Preferably on the east or northeast side and several together because the house martin is a colony brother. No nesting material needs to be added.
The nest bowl can be cleaned once a year at the end of the season (October), for this the artificial nest has to be removed from the facade so that it is accessible from the back. We advise you to also check the soundness of the suspension once a year.
