• You take care of the need for liquids by providing a VZ-solution a few hours after arrival
• Administering in the place of artificial milk
• Dissolve 30 grams of MS VZ-powder in 1 litre of water at 40º C
• Administer 1 litre of the solution daily per 10 kg of bodyweight, e.g. a 40 kg calf should have 4 litres of the solution, and a 2 kg piglet needs 0.2 litres
• Do not give calves VZ-solution for longer than 1.5 days
• After that, they should have 1 or 2 feeds with milk
