Granulate is an extremely strong material for anti-slip and wear-resistant applications for floors, and consists of quartz that has been washed and fire-dried multiple times.

Granulate gives the surface a low-to-moderate structure that provides an anti-slip effect, which makes the floor feel less smooth and provides more grip for people and animals that walk across.

Sprinkling

• The granulate must be sprinkled on the underlying coating layer while it is still wet, so that it forms a good bond
• Leave this to dry and harden overnight, so that the coating layer and quartz form a firm whole
• Next, the floor must be swept, so that loose, remaining quartz sand is removed
• Finally, the top layer of the floor coating can be applied and this will form a very strong, wear resistant floor with an optimal anti-slip action
