Floor alley coating in dairy farm
Feed alley coating - Cattle

Increase feed intake with a clean plate for your cows

Just as we like to eat from a clean plate, the same goes for cows.

Dirt and humidity present in the concrete of the feed alley infect and deteriorate the food. The result is that the quality and taste of the hay will be worse and the cows will eat less of it.

A layer of resin solves this problem because it isolates the food from bacteria, humidity and mold present in the concrete below.

Benefits of coating in cattle farms

A better feed alley hygiene means better performances for your stable. Find out more on how coating products can help your daily work.

Food preservation

The resin does not allow humidity, bacteria and mold to penetrate. This means that the forage will stay fresher for longer

Lower bacterial pressure

Precisely because there are fewer bacteria in the hay, the cows will be more protected from any pathogens present and therefore will get sick less

Fewer food residues

The higher quality of the feed encourages the cattle to eat more of it, leaving less in the lane and reducing waste

Easy cleaning

The coating is easier to clean than porous concrete. Food residues slide off much more easily and cleaning will be more complete

Wear resistant

This coating has been designed to resist the typical wear and tear of floors on livestock farms and to UV rays

What is the coating made of?

MS Floorequalcoat-trans coating is a unique two-component epoxy. The resin is synthetic and composed of a liquid component and another hardening component.

Floorequalcoat-trans is easier to treat than acrylic resins and is resistant to both mechanical wear and chemical agents.
