Calf hutches

In the young cattle rearing, calf housing is of great importance. A calf hutch, also called a calf igloo, is used to reduce the risks of infections in young animals. During the first weeks, calves should be exposed to the lowest possible germ load. This can be achieved by individual rearing of the calves in a calf hut.
