Weighing animals manually

The manual weighing of animals means that you weigh all the animals manually in a weighing cage. There are several variations in cage weighers; the main differences can be found in the material, the degree of mobility, the dimensions, and the weighing computer. But there are also differences in the use conveniences, such as a remote, hand or foot control for opening the gates, the base plates.

These are also available with or without anti-slip, with a slightly higher front, a dense side or a lateral side with bars which promotes the flow through. There are also differences in the degree of contamination and therefore how much work is needed to clean the weighing scales. Even with the manual weighing of animals, you can choose various options from different systems. When selecting a weighing system, one should carefully consult the capabilities of the weighing computer. For example, the MS Weighing Computer BWS has different communication capabilities and can process the data via Bluetooth in various management systems. The other weighing computers have bigger numbers because the data must be transferred.
