This calves teat is suitable for the calf feeding bucket. The Teat has a so calles cross hole, an opening that only opens and gives milk when the calf begins te suck of chew on the teat.
A teat with a cross-shaped opening should be fitted with the cross in the shape of a '+' and not an 'x'; if the teat is fitted in the form of an 'x', this will lead to a lower milk yield, which in turn will lead to more sucking and chewing. This causes the teat to wear faster
