The first 8 weeks after birth, calves are most susceptible to infections. Housing calves in hygienic and comfortable calf pens is therefore a must to give them the right start. The box is a fully welded construction of durable PP panels, which means germs have nowhere to settle.
The calf pen has a closed, sloping floor. There is a urine outlet for each calf, so the calves always lie on a dry surface.
