The MS Heatmat is an electric heating mat for use in piglet bedding, which provides essential warmth that piglets need during the first period of their lives.

MS Heatmats are available with and without a sensor, and in different sizes. MS Heatmats should always be used in combination with a controller (not included).

Delivered without wiring between the different heating mats; this is not included and is also not available from us. The installation of multiple heating mats in combination with a controller must be carried out by a certified electrician.

• Mats should be mounted against the pen partition with a desired distance of at least 25 cm from the farrowing pen. This prevents the sow's claw from touching the heating mat

• The MS Heatmat should always be used in combination with a controller. After the heating mat and cable are installed, the top of the tube should be sealed with silicone or a similar material so that no moisture can come into contact with the electrical connection.
• The MS Heatmat with sensor serves as the main heating mat and can be connected directly to the control unit
• Heatmats without a sensor can then be easily looped through from the main heating mat. Maximum load control unit: 2200 watts
