A dirt cutter sprays a very thin jet of water with great force (similar to squeezing a garden hose). The power of such a thin jet is much greater, but the working area becomes much smaller. To solve this, the jet is made to rotate at great speed. In the nozzle there is a ceramic ball that makes an eight shape using a small wheel in the nozzle. This gives you both an extra large cleaning power and a large work surface. Never use the dirt cutter with its point up, the ceramic ball will shoot in the wrong direction and the cutter will be broken in no time.
