Upon removal of this biofilm, a cleaning agent is dosed and rinsed through the drinking water. Remnants of these cleaning agents will react to any medicine, and medicine will react with the cleaning agent. Ultimately, the resources will deplete each other's effect. Thus, although the cleaning of water is very important, if there are medicines to be added to the water, it is just as important that no residue is left behind in the pump. We recommend, therefore, to use a separate pump for the dosing of drugs and dietary supplements.
