When we are thinking of pest control, birds do not always spring to mind immediately. Even though birds are not direct pests, they can still cause many problems in animal housing. Often, people have the idea of using a simple bird scarer to deter pigeons, gulls and starlings. Mostly that solution seems to have minimal effect.
To control birds effectively, you need to make the sites they frequent and their nest locations inaccessible. Here you could consider using pigeon spikes, also known as bird spikes. Deterring birds requires a thorough approach for success. It is best to map out a good picture of the actual situation before commencing a control program.
