By using the MS Shadow board and color coding, materials from different departments and rooms are prevented from being mixed up. For example, a red shadow board always includes red work materials, a blue shadow board always includes blue work materials, etc. Everyone can see at a glance which materials are in use (are gone), where the materials need to be picked up and put back.

The shadow board is made of aluminum composite, which makes it very sturdy and less susceptible to scratches, easy to clean and will last for years with normal use. Because the work materials hang from the shadow board with stainless steel hooks, they also have a longer lifespan.
